Colorado-based CBD company Phoenix Tears announced today that 7-Eleven stores across the country will begin carrying their CBD-based products by the end of 2018. Phoenix Tears, which produces and distributes CBD tinctures, oral sprays, and other hemp-derived products, was started in Denver, Colorado in 2010.
“We are excited that 7-Eleven will bring the Phoenix Tears product line to millions of Americans who can benefit from these all-natural, safe, and market-proven health alternative products,” Janet Rosendahl-Sweeny, Phoenix Tears’s founder, said in a release. “In addition, this agreement confirms our belief that CBD’s status as a mainstream wellness option has arrived.”
According to the announcement, the roll-out of CBD products will begin in Nevada, Colorado, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, Florida, California and Washington D.C., with the potential for expansion into further markets. By the end of the year, 4,500 7-Eleven locations in the aforementioned states should be carrying the product, with potential growth to 7,000 stores within the next three years.
